Insiders at Absolute Poker, possibly in top operational roles, were cheating by playing on the site, viewing the hole cards of their opponents, and dumping 6-figure balances between accounts. Presented with evidence in the form of hand histories, Absolute stonewalled at first, then claimed that a thorough investigation turned up no evidence of cheating or chip-dumping, but eventually admitted that one or more insiders had in fact cheated. Absolute has submitted to an audit by an outside firm chosen by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission (KGC).
